Providing a vibrant outdoor program for your unit isn’t easy. Experience the solution at Texas Powder Horn where we help you deliver on the promise of Scouting: Adventure!

At Texas Powder Horn, you "learn by doing" with expert Scouters and consultants who guide you first-hand through a sampling of amazing outdoor activities. Examples of programming in past years have included paddle boarding, rappelling, fly fishing, shooting sports, snorkeling, caving, sail boating, and so much more! Co-sponsored by Capitol Area and Longhorn Councils, Powder Horn is held over two weekends, September 20-22, and October 4-6, 2024. The location for the event is Camp Tahuaya, near Belton. Both adults and youth participants (14-20 years old) and over are eligible to attend.
