at Xavier High School
Look for the canopy over the entrance, that is our entrance point.
BY CAR, It is a VERY residential neighborhood; on-street parking will be challenging. Try nearby parking garages. There is one right next to 18 W 16th Street. Admittance starts at 8am.
By Subway:
- F train to 14 Street/Sixth Avenue (exit toward front of train)
- N, Q, R, W trains to 14 Street/Union Square/Broadway (exit toward front of train)
- 4, 5, 6 trains to 14 Street/Union Square/Park Avenue (exit toward front of train)
- L train to 14 Street/Union Square/Broadway
- 1,2, 3 trains to 14 Street/Seventh Avenue (exit toward front of train)
- Use Xavier Entrance on 16 Street, between 5-6 Avenues, Midblock, Southside:
Walk-in Registration – Keenan Commons
Opening – Keenan Commons
Lunch – YOUTH – 12:30-1:10pm pizza and beverage in Keenan Commons
ADULTS - Enjoy Off-Site or bring/buy your own and eat in Keenan Commons

Lunch: There is no designated Adult lunch period! Adults should select a period to eat lunch. Please only eat/drink in the Keenan Commons room. Do not eat in the classrooms/halls. Xavier H.S. will NOT be providing any food on site. We will not have the ability to heat nor refrigerate food.
For YOUTH 12:30-1:10pm in Keenan Commons, pizza and beverage available.
ADULTS should bring/buy your own lunch, there are options on 14th street between Broadway&7th Ave.
Childcare: To better support volunteers/parents attending TrEx, at 9:10am childcare is available for registered Scouts. To prevent the spread of the cold and flu, we are asking only healthy children be registered.
IMPORTANT: Each child must be registered individually for childcare and will only be released to the named parent/guardian on the registration.
IMPORTANT: Each child must be registered individually, specifying pickup preferences indicating pickup or if the youth is allowed to leave the building on their own. For safety, Scouts BSA and Venturing youth will only be released to the named parent/guardian on the registration.
Please review the course schedule and descriptions in the Course Catalog on the right. Some courses are offered twice to accommodate participation, unfortunately, some of your selections may conflict with each other.
ALL SESSIONS ARE FOR ADULTS, Except Merit Badges - SESSIONS THAT HAVE YOUTH ORIENTED CONTENT ARE TAGGED WITH YOUTH
Suggestions:
- Take a course in a different program area and apply what you learn in your own current program area.
- Look for something you already know and be part of the discussion, offering how you met challenges to your fellow Scouters.
- Help a friend expand their horizons by going to a topic they might need encouragement to attend.
- Catch up with Scouters who may have a free period, too. Have lunch together.
