Range and Target Activities - Training
The Shooting Sports Committee offers several NRA shooting sports classes. These courses are for registered Scouters and Scouts (ages 14-18). Learn more at https://shacbsa.org/range-and-target-activities/#shooting.

NRA Certification: During NRA courses, instructions will be provided on how to apply for the required NRA Certification, which incurs an additional fee payable to the NRA (approximately $35-$65, depending on NRA membership).

- Part 1: Basic Shooting Course
- Part 2: Basic Instructor Training (BIT). Part 2 must be renewed every two years and must be current to attend Part 3.
- Part 3: Basic Instructor
