Texas Fin-Fur-Con (TFFC) is a one-day Wildlife and Conservation Merit Badge University
Event Details:
- Check-in opens Saturday, March 15 at 8:00 a.m.
- Classes begin 9:00 a.m. and end approximately at 5:00 p.m.
- Registration Deadline: March 9 at 11:00 p.m.
This is the deadline to change or add to your registration. Late additions/substitutions or walk-ins cannot be accomodated. - Location: Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp, 11217 FM 2970, Athens, Texas 75751
- All Scouts should reach out to their Scoutmaster about their merit badge selection before registering.
Camping:
- Camping will be available only to registered participants. You may add this option in your reservation. There are no planned activities or meals provided aside from lunch at the event. You must provide your own meals and snacks if staying overnight.
Merit Badge Requirement Reports:
- All reports will be available within 14 days after the event. You will obtain these by going into your registration and clicking on the Reports tab. Physical "blue cards" will not be provided at this MBU. Save your confirmation email which will have a link to access your registration after the event.
- Any person or unit from out-of-Council (not Circle Ten Council) must provide proof of current BSA membership such as the unit roster downloaded from my.scouting.org or a copy of their current membership ID.
Cost:
- Scouts: $25 includes a patch and Saturday lunch
- Adults: $15 includes a patch and Saturday lunch
- Registration is done individually or by unit. If booking as a unit, the primary registration contact will be responsible for checking in the group and forwarding all communications and policies.
- Cancellations: All cancellations must follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy (HERE)
