2024 Online Merit Badge College

This November, Palmetto Council will be offering several merit badge classes online. This is a great opportunity for your scout to earn additional merit badges. Each class is limited to 20 participants unless otherwise noted. The cost for each class is $10/scout and is non-refundable. Each class will be held on Zoom and a link along with additional details and instructions will be sent to participants prior to the class beginning. All sessions will be recorded so that scouts can go back and watch any session they may have missed or wish to review.

Each scout should be prepared to do work outside of the online instructional time period. This "homework" may include written responses, photograhs/videos, or putting together kits based on the information provided in the instructions. If a class has multiple dates listed, the scout must attend all dates (or watch session at a later time) to earn the merit badge.

Classes offered (all times listed are Eastern Standard Time):
Fish and Wildlife Management: Saturday, November 2nd, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Citizenship in the Community: Tuesday, November 5th & Wednesday, November 6th, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Bird Study: Saturday, November 9th, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Reptile & Amphibian Study: Saturday, November 23rd, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
American Heritage: Sunday, December 1st, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
