2026 Daniel Morgan Cub Scout Day Camp - Dinosaurs!

June 22–26, 2026

Get ready to ROAR into adventure at the Daniel Morgan Cub Scout Day Camp – Dinosaurs!
Travel back in time for a prehistoric week packed with exploration, fun, and Scouting spirit. Campers will dig into hands-on adventures like fossil hunts, dinosaur STEM projects, BBs, archery, bouldering, nature, sports, and much more!

When:

June 22–26, 2026

Time:

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Sessions run 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM)

Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Friday is Family Day! Families are invited to participate all day.
Please Note: Friday’s activities may be held at a different location. More details will be shared closer to camp.

GOLS – 270 Wheeling Circle, Glendale, SC 29346

Who:

All Cub Scouts in the Daniel Morgan District
Note: Current Lions (Kindergarten) must have an adult partner for the entire duration of camp.

Registration & Fees:

Early Registration: $125 (if registered by April 30)

Regular Registration: $150 (if registered May 1–27)

Registration Deadline: May 27

Tot Lot: $50 (for younger children of volunteers only)

Volunteer Discount:
Campers with a parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle volunteering all 5 days of camp will only pay $100 for their Scout if registered by April 30.
The full fee must be paid up front; the discount will be reimbursed after camp.

Important Details:

Each Cub Scout and Volunteer will receive 1 free camp t-shirt with registration.
Additional shirts may be purchased for $10 each.

Lunch will NOT be provided — campers must bring their own lunch daily.

Parent Orientation (Mandatory):

Parents of all campers must attend one of two orientation sessions before camp.
At this meeting, you’ll receive your camper’s gear and the camp guide.

Parent Orientation Dates: June 14  & June 18, 2026

Volunteer Staff:

If you are volunteering as camp staff, you must:

Complete the online registration, and

Submit your information form to the Camp Director.

Youth-on-Youth Protection Training will be held virtually on Saturday, June 6, 2026, and is required for all camp staff.
