Fall Encampment is an campout for Scouting America - Boy and Girl Troops and Venturers to learn in-depth skills and unique opportunities. A wide variety of experiences are offered each year. Past events have included Range & Target Activities, fishing & fly fishing, wilderness survival, outdoor cooking, geocashing and surveying. Youth participants will choose their Saturday program. The youth working on fly fishing, fishing, search and rescue, wilderness survival, geocaching and surveying will cover requirements for the merit badge, but many of these cannot be completed in the time available. All the youth working on Range & Target Activities should be able to complete there Merit Badge . There may be opportunities for adult participation. All meals are to be provided by the units.
