2024 SPRING CAMPOREE

"RIDE THE RAILS"

Join us for a great weekend at Muskingum Valley Scout Reservation and Mill Creek Central Railroad, where your scouts will get to enjoy large scale model trains on 5 miles of rideable track. We will be camping at MVSR and Riding the Rails over at the enchanting Mill Creek Central Railroad in Coshocton, OH. Mill Creek is just a scenic 12-minute ride from the Reservation. This weekend extravaganza promises thrills, skills, and Scouting memories that will last a lifetime.

What: 2024 MVC Spring Camporee

Where: MVSR (Camping) & Mill Creek Central Railroad (Saturday Program)

When: April 19th - 21st, 2024

Check-In Friday 6:00pm - 8:30pm

What to Bring: Patrol Flags, Daypacks, Water Bottles, RAIN GEAR and ENTHUSIASM

Cost: $20 per Youth, $15 per Adult

Railroading Merit Badge: Dive headfirst into the fascinating world of railroads as our Scouts work diligently to earn the Railroading Merit Badge. From locomotives to cabooses, this badge covers it all!

Order of the Arrow Call Out Ceremony: Don't miss the mystical and moving Order of the Arrow Call Out Ceremony. Ensure your troop completes their elections before arriving for this special event that adds a touch of tradition and honor to our gathering.

Meals Provided: Saturday Lunch and Dinner. Dinner will provided upon return from Mill Creek Central Railroad.
