New this Year - Archery Merit Badge

The Archery merit badge has a shooting requirement to demonstrate a Scout's skill in the sport of Archery. One of the rounds that qualifies for the merit badge is the Scout Field Round. This year, our tournament will offer the Scout Field Round distances in addition to NFAA Field Round Distances.

Participants may choose to shoot the Scout Field Round for the tournment. If the scout participant scores 80 points with a recurve bow or 90 points with a compound bow, they will meet the shooting requirements for the archery merit badge.

On April 5th, we will be holding an Archery Merit Badge class at the Seneca Waterways Council Service Center from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

During this class day, all the non-shooting requirements will be reviewed. Please, review the requirements before the day and come prepared to have a productive day. Please get permission from your Scoutmaster to start the merit badge. Bring a signed blue card.
