Come try the new and updated Babysitting program from the American Red Cross designed for ages 11-16. Learn business basics like resumes, interviews, and advertising. Engage in group discussions around leadership, responsibility and decision making techniques. Develop your knowledge and skills for working with young children and infants, including care skills. Learn about milestones, and developmentally appropriate behaviors and behavior management. Gain a 2-year certification in First Aid and CPR upon successful scenario completion. We encourage anyone interested in working with young children, or becoming a Counselor In Training (CIT), or younger camp staff to try out this training. 

Please bring: a lunch, a water bottle, something to write on, and something to write with.

Snacks will be provided.
After the class, access to an eBook and an app with the skills and information in the class will be given.
If a participant is interested in purchasing a hard copy of the Babysitting book, they are available on site the day of training for $20.
