Every Scout deserves a trained leader. Every leader deserves training that makes their job easier and more fun.
WHO this training is for
These courses are designed for:
- Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders
- Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters
- Pack Committee Chairs and Pack Committee Members
- Pack and Troop Chartered Org Reps
- Troop Committee Chairs and Troop Committee Members
**Additional dates and topics will be added throughout the year, please check back**
This essential, instructor-led course helps you:
- Understand your role and responsibilities
- Gain confidence and clarity in leading your den or pack
Sessions are led by experienced Scout leaders who are ready to support you, share practical tips, and answer your questions. You’ll leave with tools and resources to help your Scouts thrive.
These courses are position specific trainings for leaders, and they do not expire.
Please note that Hazardous Weather and Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) are still also required to be fully trained.
Dates:
- August 13th: Den Leader
- September 10th New Member Coordinators (Packs and Troops)
- October 8th : Troop Committee and Troop Committee Chair
Please note: Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, Den Leaders, and their assistants are also required to complete Hazardous Weather Training every two years. This is not part of this course but is available online at my.scouting.org.

Chippewa Roundtable! We will have an additional space available, and all are welcome!
ALTERNATIVE OPTION
You may also complete your leader-specific training online at my.scouting.org. This is the same site you used to complete SYT training.
The my.scouting option delivers the same core content in smaller modules, which may be helpful if you cannot attend the live session.
