The STEM Speaker Series is a way for you to learn about exciting STEM careers!  The conversations will be held on Teams.  Attendees will have an opportunity to join a Q&A with each of our guests.

As a little girl, Dr. Samantha "Combo" Weeks dreamed of soaring through the skies as a pilot - unaware that, at the time, women were barred from flying combat aircraft. But barriers never defined her. With unwavering determination, she shattered expectations and made history as the first-ever female solo pilot on the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the elite jet demonstration team that represents the pride and precision of the Air Force around the world.

A retired Air Force Colonel, Dr, Weeks served over 23 years on active duty, earning her wings as a combat-proven fighter pilot with more than 2,200 flight hours in the F-15C and F-16, including 105 hours in combat. Her career is marked by courage, excellence, and groundbreaking leadership.
