Club Chawanakee 2025 – Your Family’s Perfect Summer Sendoff!

Dates: Labor Day Weekend – August 29 to September 1, 2025

‍‍‍What is Club Chawanakee? 

Club Chawanakee is a weekend family camp designed just for Scouting families! It's the perfect way to close out summer with one last outdoor adventure before school starts.

Enjoy the cool mountain air, lakeside fun, and a full schedule of outdoor activities—plus, all meals are provided so you can focus on making memories together!

Handicraft Creations

Swimming in Shaver Lake

Campfires, nature hikes, and more!

Canvas tents and cots are provided (on the point!)—just bring your personal gear

All major program areas will be open, and activities are suitable for all ages.

2025 Registration Policy (New & Important)

To ensure a safe and fun experience for all:

All adults must be registered with Scouting America, unless they are only attending with their Cub Scout (grades K–5)

Adults attending with Scouts BSA youth (ages 11–17) must be Scouting America registered

All additional adults (18+) must complete registration at least 14 days before the event (AB-506 & Background check)
